166 new articles replenished holdings of Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve
The Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes received 19 pictures painted by A. Slepyshev, V. Malyushitsky, Y. Filippov and V. Nasedkin.
147 new articles were registered in the head museum, including a very rare and unique musical instrument – a button accordion with chime.
To replenish the numismatics collection, the museum bought two medals “Vasily II the Blind” and “Fyodor Godunov” from the series “Rules of Russia” issued by the St. Petersburg Mint on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty.
The valuable collection of architectural details and tiles of the New Jerusalem Monastery and the Novodevichy Convent of the 17th – 18th centuries and two pictures of P.F. Nikonov “Shelf” and “Cloud” were donated to the museum.
Personal things of colonel-general A.A. Demidov – a cloth cap and a jacket with shoulder straps, certificates and photographs – will also replenish the museum collections.
