Director of Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve Mikhail Sharomazov will become guest in Club of Art Amateurs

According to N.S. Serova, journalist and art critic of Vologda, the main topic of the meeting will be a museum worker in the changing world.

“M.N. Sharomazov has been working as a director of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve for seven years. During this time, he has been going his own way, has been conducting active museum and cultural policy that is extremely topical and interesting for residents of the Vologda region. At the meeting, Mikhail Sharomazov will share experience of the new existence of the museum in the modern world and will tell about the principles of relations “museum – town” and “museum – world” by the example of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve”, said N.S. Serova.

According to the established tradition, the meeting will be opened by Vladimir Voropanov, director of the Vologda Regional Picture Gallery, honorary freeman of Vologda. Film expert Tatiana Kanunova and artists G.N. Mamrovskaya and T.A. Chistyakova will also take part in the event.

Natalya Sergeevna Serova will tell guests about the Memorial Flat of Vasily Belov (the branch of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve) and about the project “Foreign Evenings in Kirillov” within the framework of which meetings with representatives of the cultural elite of the Russian and world levels are held in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve.

The meeting with Mikhail Sharomazov, director of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve, timed to the 30th anniversary of his museum work, will take place in the Museum-Creative Centre “Korbakov’s House” on October 15.
