Experts of Association of Tour Operators of Russia visited Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve and Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes

The expert group consisted of some representatives of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia and Russian tour operators “Viaduct”, “On Seven Hills” and “Vand”.
The participants of the tour saw the best sights of the Kirillov district: the ensembles of the Kirillo-Belozersky and Ferapontov Monasteries, the historical and ethnographic complex “Sugoriye”.
The experts were told about the tourist potential and tourist infrastructure of the route – visited hotels, public catering places and motorways service facilities.
During the working visit to the Vologda region, the experts went to Vologda and Totma – the cities included into the general geography of the route.
According to the results of the testing of the tourist route “Vologda Region – the Soul of Russian North”, the experts will give recommendations concerning its improvement and preparation of the reception of tourist groups.
As a result, federal tour operators will begin to sell this tour. This procedure will become the next stage of the implementation of the presented route “The Soul of Russian North”.
It is worth reminding that the Vologda region is the coordinator of the tourist project “Silver Necklace of Russia” implemented with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the RF.
