Family Day in Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve
April 30, 2016
Young guests from Vologda, Cherepovets and Kirillov made a tour of the exhibition “Kargopol Talks”. The children saw colourful toys that had self-explanatory names “Polkan”, “Bereginya”, “Pushmi-pullyu”, “Crow”.
They also participated in the museum lesson about the Kargopol toys. Together with museum employee N.V. Zovutina, boys and girls saw a film about the history of clay articles, assembled jigsaw puzzles and painted prepared models of the Kargopol toys.
Both children and adults were interested in the master-class “Easter card” delivered in the Treasury Chamber of the museum. They learnt about Easter traditions and made an unusual colorful greeting card in the iris folding technique for their relatives and friends.
The visit to the museum on the spring day was light, spectacular and festive. The young visitors got a lot of positive emotions and impressions.
