They couldn’t do without miracles and magic on that day. The first guests of the winter wood met with its fairy forest dwellers that livened up with a wave of a wand of the forest Fairy. Two Snowflakes, the Hedgehog and the Bear told their interesting stories to children and adults. Small dwarfs and Aunt Malanya (the hostess of the house of folk craftsmen) sang cheerful songs. Kikimora and the Fir Tree proposed riddles. The travelers went thought a forest swamp and got to the seat of Baba Yaga and her daughter Yozhka. The organizers had a lot of surprises for boys and girls there: the puppet performance “Moroz Ivanovich”, music gifts and a tea party with sweets.
This display was initiated by L.A. Lupushor, deputy director of development and exhibition work.
Her idea was implemented by employees of the Permanent and Temporary Exhibition Department. The exhibition space of the People’s House turned into a mysterious winter wood with forest dwellers: funny little animals, snowflakes, dwarfs, elves, fairies, lace miracle birds and even Harpies from the Housing and Utility Management Unit known as ZhEK.
Dolls, art toys and puppet sculptures made in various techniques using different materials create the fairy atmosphere of the display. In all, there are over 400 articles.
