Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve became winner of “Miracle of Russia 2017” in Northwestern Federal District!

Several hundreds of projects were nominated for the Fourth Festival-Contest of Tourist Video Presentations “Miracle of Russia”. They represented all federal districts of our country: Southern, North Caucasian, Volga, Ural, Siberian, Far Eastern, Central and certainly Northwestern.

Winners and prize-winners of the Northwestern Federal District in both certain nominations and among the regions of this federal district were determined on May 23. The Vologda region was named the best! It took the first place! The Komi Republic placed in second and the Republic of Karelia finished third.

The Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve became the winner of the nomination “Historical, Architectural, Religious Sites and Museums”. In the opinion of experts, the video presentation “Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery and Museum” meets all specified requirements of the contest: originality of the project, singularity of the introduced information, originality and quality of the presentations and connection with the history and tourist attraction of the site.

One more project made by the employees of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve - “Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes - Ferapontov Monastery” was awarded by the jury – this video presentation took the third place in this nomination.

The certificate of the winner of the “Miracle of Russia 2017” in the Northwestern Federal District was given to M.N. Sharomazov, director of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve, in Kaliningrad. The award ceremony was held in this city.  

We will learn if the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve will become an absolute winner in the Final of the Fourth Festival-Contest of Tourist Video Presentations “Miracle of Russia” in Moscow on May 30.
