“Night of Arts” will be held in Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes!

Dear friends, the Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes will join the All-Russian Action “Night of Arts”! Don’t miss a chance to try something new and interesting on November 4.
From 17:00 to 20:00 – Master-class in oil painting. 12+
It will be delivered by Elena Gudkova – an employee of the Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes, a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. Everybody will paint a picture and will take it with you. The master-class will take place in the Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes (Ferapontovo). A ticket (both for children and adults) costs 2000 rubles. The group is to consist of not more than 10 persons. The number of participants is limited.
At 18:00 – Master-class “Apprentices of Dionisy”. 12+
You will learn about the outstanding icon-painter of the 15th – early 16th century Dionisy, fresco painting and the frescoes in the Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral created by Dionisy in 1502. Besides, you will try to make a fresco yourself according to the ancient technique.
Venue: administrative building of the Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes.
A ticket (both for children and adults) costs 100 rubles. The group is to consist of not more than 15 persons. The number of participants is limited. The master-class will last for 45 minutes.
The Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral with the frescoes of Dionisy, the Church of St. Martinian and the Refectory (the main permanent exhibition about the history of the Ferapontov Monastery) will be open for visitors during the whole action till 20:00.
